Applying for a scholarship of the Rotary Hilfe District 1830 e. V.

What is the aim of the association? PDG Hans Bader, the founder of the association in 1996, recognized at an early stage that in a globalised world, especially due to the abolition of the “Iron Curtain” and the enlargement of Europe, the promotion of young people from the neighbouring Eastern European countries and beyond is an important integrative link. The scholarships granted by the “Rotary-Hilfe-1830 e.V.” to study at the universities of Tübingen, Stuttgart and Hohenheim have become an important landmark. Scholarship holders should get to know our country and culture, make connections, and later pass on the values of friendship and mutual respect, which is one of the crucial Rotarian ideals. A former scholarship holder from Poland, who studied electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Stuttgart, expressed his gratitude as follows: “Such a warm and friendly relationship between all, as I experienced during my stay in Germany, cannot be paid for with money. There is a new symbol for peace: Rotary Scholarships! A contribution to international understanding!”
